SALESNET ANNOUNCES SALESNET25.COM —PREVIEWS UPCOMING
25TH ANNIVERSARY PRODUCT EDITION
On-Demand CRM Leader Unveils Dedicated Web Site to Introduce New Features Designed to
Give Companies Unprecedented Control and Usability
Boston, MA —September 6, 2005 — Salesnet, the leading provider of on-demand CRM software focused on driving sales effectiveness, today launched Salesnet25.com, the official preview Web site dedicated to the company’s upcoming 25th Anniversary Edition - the first of its kind in the industry. Beginning immediately, the Salesnet25.com Web site will reveal several new features each week for Salesnet customers and prospective customers to review. The series of additions will culminate in the introduction of the 250th feature, to be uncovered just prior to the launch of the 25th Anniversary Edition. The Anniversary Edition, anticipated for a winter release, will include over 250 wide ranging features that broaden Salesnet’s CRM footprint into Campaign Management, Lead Management, Product Catalogs, Order Management and more.
"At Salesnet, we have a passionate user-base who, over the years, has provided us with great feedback on the product. Salesnet25.com allows us to give them a detailed sneak-peek into what they have helped us create - our upcoming 25th Anniversary Edition,” said Richard Perkett, chief technical officer and co-founder of Salesnet. “With the Salesnet25.com Web site we want to show our customers and prospects the nuances of each new feature from the new edition and do it in an interactive way - revealing features over time, giving them a place to provide feedback and allowing them to review the features without being bombarded all at once with a slew of new capabilities."
Currently, features 1 through 15 are highlighted on the site. These initial features focus on ‘Custom List Queries and Layouts’ functionality and are designed to improve the users’ ability to customize lead, account, contact and deal lists. These features also afford customers the flexibility to create both ‘Custom List Queries’ and ‘Custom List Layouts’ that work independently of one another, saving time by allowing users to change layouts without having to rebuild queries.
“Salesnet is rapidly becoming vital to the way we manage our business. As such, we eagerly await news of forthcoming features,” said Andrew Johnston, sales manager of Filmlight. “The Salesnet25.com site enables me to preview what is coming and to learn about each new feature prior to the launch of the new edition, in easily understood, manageable chunks, helping me to grasp their potential impact and prioritize their implementation into our business processes.” The next set of features scheduled to be added to the Salesnet25.com Web site will focus on ‘Enhanced Document Management’ functionality. These features will allow Salesnet customers to create an unlimited number of custom folders where they can store documents and will allow them to include document keywords to be used in a new search tool, making it easier to organize, sort and search documents. The third set of new features will focus on the ability to send individual and mass HTML email within the application, in response to customer feedback. Those interested in getting an in-depth look at each new feature can visit www.salesnet25.com for a tour of the latest updates. In addition interested parties can sign up on the site to be updated via email each time a new set of features is added to the site.
